Volleyball

Volleyball is a team sport played between two teams of six players each, on a court divided by a red one. The objective of the game is to pass the ball over the net and make it fall into the opponent's field, preventing the rival team from returning it.

Investigation
Since I was a child, volleyball has been an activity that has fascinated me for its tactics and energy. I have always dreamed of playing point and jumping very high to finish with great precision. However, I was able to start training at the age of 14 in the school's extracurricular volleyball program. For this I began to investigate techniques and exercises that would help me be ready to start my training.

Preparation
My preparation began with learning the regulations of the sport and all the positions it can have, to be more aware of what I was getting into. After I was clear about the theory, I continued with the practice, which at first was a very complicated challenge for me, because it was something new, and I was not used to it. What I highlight most is that it has helped me to improve more and see more changes in my way of executing this activity in terms of conciseness and motivation.

Action
Thanks to all my efforts and my persistence in training, I was able to obtain the position that I always wanted to have and I was also given the opportunity to be in intercollegiate matches, which was one of my biggest dreams to fulfill in the practice of volleyball. Although we have not yet won any competitions, I am confident that with my team we will do incredible things.

Reflection
Playing volleyball is one of the most beautiful experiences I have had in my life so far. It has altered my understanding of how things change and how to progress while working hard and committing to what I enjoy. Now I have more confidence thanks to this sport, which has also taught me to dedicate time to practice and have goals. Above all, it has taught me to have great cooperation with my colleagues and thus be able to be more confident in group work. For me, volleyball is a way to decompress and find security. Instead of just being wrong, making mistakes is now an educational tool. Playing volleyball has made me feel afraid and frustrated but it has also taught me to never give up to improve more and more. My dad was the one who motivated me to dedicate myself to this sport, and he has always been my greatest support in this.
